New behavior patterns

Through therapy, you will learn to identify harmful behavior patterns that contribute to anxiety, fear, or low self-esteem in both you and your child. By working through real-life scenarios, you will develop new and effective ways to respond to these situations. These new behavior patterns will help you build a life filled with calm, balance, and mutual understanding.

Support

Therapy will provide you with support and teach you how to gain confidence in handling challenging situations that lead to depression, anxiety, or panic responses. You will come to realize that you are not alone in facing these challenges and that it is possible to manage them with perspective and composure.

How do the 6 therapy sessions work

1.

In the initial session, we will get to know each other and establish the goals of therapy. Together, we will outline specific steps to help you manage situations related to your child’s depression, anxiety, fears, and low self-esteem.

2.

The second session will focus on your personal challenges. We will explore how these issues impact not only your child but also you as a parent. You will learn to better recognize how anxiety and fears affect your daily interactions and responses.

3.

During the third session, we will focus on practical adjustments—at home, school, and in public settings. You will learn strategies to create an environment that supports your child in managing their anxiety and fears more effectively.

4.

The fourth session will focus on effective communication and planning. You will learn how to communicate not only with your child but also with teachers and other individuals to support your child’s self-confidence and ability to handle challenging situations.

5.

The fifth session will revisit your personal challenges and work on reinforcing the skills you’ve developed throughout the therapy. This will ensure that the progress you’ve made feels solid and sustainable.

6.

In the final session, we will review the skills you’ve gained and set new goals for any additional changes you wish to achieve. By this stage, you will have all the tools you need to implement these changes independently. Together, we will decide whether to conclude the therapy or continue with developmental therapy to further support your growth.
